Founded by Owner & Principal Tom Sherlock in 2005 with offices in Aspen and Snowmass, SH Built is a team of highly experienced professionals who share a passion for building and remodeling homes of uncompromising quality. As a boutique builder, we limit the number of projects each year, allowing us to stay focused on our clients’ needs and to ensure their homes are built to our own rigorous standards.


Utilizing these principles, the SH Built team customizes each building experience to meet the client's expectations. All the while providing the highest level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and latest trends in home building technology and functionality innovation.


SH Built has built and remodeled over 400,000 square feet of commercial and residential spaces in Aspen, Snowmass Village, and the Roaring Fork Valley.

SH Built carefully selects our team of managers to ensure a cohesive and top-notch blend of construction expertise, customer service and accountability.


Greg Hinkle, Purchasing Manager

Utilizing his degree in mathematics, Greg has been managing budgets for the SHB clients for over 10 years. Greg and his family live in Basalt.


David Kwiatkoski, General Manager

With decades of experience managing projects for some of Aspen’s original builders, David leads the SHB team and guides clients and subs alike to success.


Larry Flores, Superintendent

Larry’s construction experience includes ownership of a 20-person framing company and building homes in Aspen since 1998.


Lukasz Lowisz, Superintendent

Lukasz built his family’s home in Glenwood Springs. He is exceptionally schedule driven and holds a high-level of attention to detail.


Alex Mendoza, Foreman

A first-generation dreamer, Alex is a critical component to the success of most SHB projects. He was raised on ranch and enjoys the cowboy life – True Grit!


Debbi Whitlock and Bonnie Mineo, Accounting

The backbone of construction management is well-kept books. Debbi and Bonnie have their fingers on the pulse of monthly reporting. They enjoy working remotely and the online platform provides them time in the backcountry vs. driving to the office.
